About the Scholarship
Each spring, the Be Like Ike Foundation proudly awards the Be Like Ike Scholarship to a graduating high school senior who exemplifies the true spirit of what it means to Be Like Ike.
This $1,500 scholarship recognizes students who live out the Foundation’s core values — being Brave and Bold, Engaged, Loyal, Integral, Kind, Exceptional, Inspiring, Knowledgeable, and Empowered. These qualities reflect the legacy of Coach Ike Wilson, whose life of leadership, faith, and service continues to inspire generations.
More than financial support, the scholarship represents our ongoing commitment to uplifting youth, investing in education, and empowering tomorrow’s changemakers to lead with purpose both on and off the field.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic Excellence
Applicants must be graduating high school seniors with a strong academic record and commitment to continuing their education.
Character & Leadership
Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong moral character, and embodiment of the BELIKEIKE core values.
Community Service
Active involvement in community service, volunteer work, or initiatives that make a positive impact on others.
Extracurricular Achievement
Participation in sports, arts, clubs, or other activities that demonstrate dedication and personal growth.
