About Us

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

BELIKEIKE Foundation

About the legacy

The Be Like Ike Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) founded and inspired by the life and legacy of Isiah “Ike” Wilson.

Ike was an advocate in the community.  A coach, mentor, educator and inspiration to all those he encountered. His life was dedicated to serving others, and building up the young men and women of our community to be the next leaders and productive members of society.

As a wife and family of a sports coach and educator, we know all too well how much time, energy, and effort goes into the life of being a servant leader.  Of someone who also battled a terrible illness, but fought through to show up for those he loved, even to the very last days- This is what fueled our passion for wanting to support this population.

Our Foundation is committed to contributing to the best outcomes for our local youth, student-athletes, coaches and educators.  In doing so, we provide scholarships for youth to engage in sports, scholarships for college, grants to coaches and educators all while providing education and awareness around overall health and well-being.  This includes funding to fight long term-illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and many other illnesses that impact our community.

Though Ike left us physically when he gained his angel wings on June 3, 2021, his passion and impact in the community will live on through the legacy of this Foundation.  YOU are now a part of this lasting legacy!
